The Qumran Stone Mezuzah are available in two sizes: large and medium. The Gamla Concrete Mezuzah are available in four sizes: large, medium, medium plus and small.

 

The Stones

The Stones are natural stones from Israel. The bright stones, or “Jerusalem stone“, inspired by the Western Wall, dug deep in the lower layers of the mines around Jerusalem, granting them special features and quality of hardness and density. The stones textured homogeneous light shade and gives them a warm look.

The dark stones are basalt stones and other types of natural stones, come from the Negev Highlands, from the Golan Heights and other places and have high durability. Some of the stones are cut in the shape of the Land of Israel, using unique processing techniques. The design on natural stone, making it a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

The Concrete

The concrete is a special raw material used in ancient times for building tools and construction. Concrete has entered the art field in recent years due to its many possibilities. The concrete in the Blessing Stones Mezuzahs made of casting concrete from natural stone, using unique hand-crafted processing techniques, comes in concrete natural color or a variety of natural pigments, making it a one-of-a-kind work of art.

The Glass Tube

The Glass tube containing the parchment, is made by hand of unique glass blowing techniques that give the tube it’s interesting texture and color as well as Pyrex glass profile in a high-quality finish. Inside the glass tube there is a special place for a kosher Parchment (scroll). The Blessing Stones mezuzahs have special design that allows the written blessing to be seen. This written blessing is made of handmade paper using traditional molds containing fibers from different plants in a special process that create unique textures and gives it an appearance of leather.

The Metal Ornaments

The Metal ornaments, such as Star of David, Hamsa, Harp of David, represents Jewish and Israeli symbols that reflect a rich tradition and consist of a wide variety of styles in original design. The ornaments consist of a wide variety of styles in original design. A wide range of Star of David in rounded lines in a natural flow, a David harp in a style that combines old and contemporary, a “Hamsa” in various designs. The ornaments on the mezuzahs are updated from time to time in surprising designs. The ornaments made of high quality brass plated with 24 karat gold, Rhodium, sterling silver and other material and they come in a smooth, hammered, glossy and matte finish.  The designs provide unconventional and sophisticated look.

The Hanging Mechanism

On the back of the Mezuzah a hanging device is located. It consists of a metal strip attached with screws to the back of the mezuzah. The metal strip connects to the wall using additional screws attached to the kit.

 

The Parchment

The original kosher Parchment is a scroll rolled up made of leather contain two passages from the Torah commandment handwritten by qualified person.

The Blessing Stones mezuzahs have special design that allows the written blessing to be seen. This written blessing is made of handmade paper using traditional molds containing fibers from different plants in a processing that create unique textures and gives it an appearance of leather.

An original kosher Parchment scroll can be ordered separately. Instead of the scroll, a “Blessing of the Home” written in Hebrew, English and other languages, can be purchase separately.
